Crt gets report against Google, can fine it up to 1/10 of income
MOSCOW, Oct 27 (PRIME) -- Moscow’s Tagansky District Court has registered an administrative offense report against Google for a repeated non-deletion of content and the U.S. tech giant can be fined up to one tenth of its annual income, a court representative told PRIME on Friday.
The hearing date is yet to be scheduled.
Google was earlier punished twice with turnover-based fines – 7.2 billion rubles in late 2021 and 21.7 billion rubles for non-deletion of fake information about the Russian army.
